My mum is a teacher par excellence and despite being retired still does as much of it as possible – usually in what we might call ‘difficult’ schools.
She relates the following slightly pitiful story:
“One of the lessons I had to do yesterday was to do part of the Easter story.Last supper and betrayal etc. Some of the children just couldn’t get the story .They were supposed to write some of it down in a little Easter book.Poor things”
I think I shall recommend this episode of Jesus & Mo, which should make an excellent classroom teaching aid:
She goes on to say, “must tell you about one of the children who is a Jehovah’s Witness but not now…”
I must find out!!
